Does Turkey really officially recognize the minority as nationally Turkish?
I think this article should be named "Rhodope Prefecture". Rhodope is the traditional English (ancient Greek inspired) name for the Rhodope Mountains this prefecture is named after. Rodopi would be the official transliteration of the modern Greek name, Rodhopi is the transliteration proposed by the US Board of Geographic Names. Reactions at Talk:Prefectures of Greece please.
